About Us

Mary started her career in 1995 after studying Travel & Tourism IATI/UFTA for 2 years. She quickly progressed into management in the Travel Trade – last position held European Regional Manager BTI for Kerry Foods 2002 – 2004 until she went back to study Accounting in the CIT in 2004. She received a degree with honours from Accounting Technicians of Ireland and went onto study Accounting through the CPA in 2011. In 2019 Mary was awarded a Fellowship with ATI for exceptional performance in a Senior Accounting role.

Since 2005 Mary has been self-employed and put all her energy into building her business successfully. She is very customer service focussed and always striving for increased efficiency and improving business profitability.

Client base includes solicitors, auctioneers, childcare facility owners, Pubs, B&B’s, Restaurants, IT Companies, Haulage companies, Contracting for other accountancy firms and much more. Over the years Mary has specialized in Legal accounting and her client base is now 90% solicitors as a result.

In addition, when a client of 14 years died in 2015, the family appointed Mary Managing Director and Financial Controller of the business in the interest of keeping the business trading and remedy its financial position. During her 5 year tenure in Managing this business, Mary stabilized the business, increased profits significantly, exceeded all expectations and traded it out of debt and alas now back to focus on her own business.

Her extensive experience in legal accounting has led her to expand her accounting service to consultancy so that solicitors who already have an accounting team can benefit from this experience to assess and improve their own process.
